Synopsis
An inspirational performance narrative by violinist Jasper Woods. Born in Moncton, New Brunswick, Jasper travels the world with this violin, collecting awards and kudos for his recitals, whether as a solo artist, or playing with a chamber ensemble or symphony orchestra. In this film, he is joined by musicians Ned Landry and his great-grandchildren, Alison and Alexandre Landry, Ivan and Vivian Hicks, Terri Surette, Martin Melanson and the Quatuor Arthur LeBlanc. The settings for the performances recorded in 2006 are the Monument Lefèbvre’s Sainte-Anne-de-Beaumont chapel in Memramcook, Kings Landing and the fabulous “Fiddles on the Tobique” event.
