Timothy M. Hogan has carried his creative spirit and entrepreneurial success into the film and television industry. A graduate of Vancouver Film School, Tim left the west coast tech sector after a decade as a successful entrepreneur. Returning to his roots in the Maritimes and building upon his business experience, he quickly rose through the ranks as assistant director and production manager. In addition to servicing over 60 hours of documentary programming for networks such as The Discovery Channel, travel + escape, and the CBC, Tim has provided a range of production services to numerous US feature films.
As an independent producer and partner at Dream Street Pictures, Tim has continued to uphold his dedication to making award-winning shows in drama, documentary, and performance programming for the national and international marketplace. His production credits include the television movie The Phantoms (CBC), winner of both the prestigious International Emmy Award and the 2013 Shaw Rocket Prize; the movie Sticks and Stones (CTV), the winner of the Shaw Rocket Prize, as well as Best Foreign Drama at the 2008 International Family Film Festival; twenty-three episodes of Planet Luxury (travel + escape, Discovery HD); the four hour drama mini series Canada Russia ’72 (CBC); and the multi-Gemini-nominated MOW Open Heart (CBC). Tim has also produced several award-winning documentaries, including Practice, Practice, Practice (CBC), Flying on the Moon (CBC), Neutral Ground (Newsworld), and The Man they call Reveen (documentary channel). Recent documentary projects include The Grey Lane which premiered on the documentary channel, Sext Up KIDS, Zoo Revolution and Wild & Dangerous, both broadcast on CBC’s esteemed Doc Zone, and Pets, Vets & Debts produced for CBC's prestigious 'The Nature of Things'.
